And It’s a Wrap! …Or Is It?

The ‘final’ New Zealand shoot went without a hitch, but perhaps not without a few moments of drama, laughter and nervous tension.  It was all systems go as Robert Oliver and the New Zealand ambassador chefs  prepared a gourmet formal lunch for a range of VIP guests, including some well-known and loved faces such as Witi Ihimaera and Beatrice Faumuina.

The buzz in the kitchen was electric and no hands were left idle as everyone threw themselves into their specific roles.  Robert’s natural exuberance and motivated rhythm in the kitchen kept the chefs feeling upbeat and highly charged.

Renowned chefs, Michael Meredith, Charles Royal and Alex Kaihea also enjoyed esteemed places at the dining table.  The men clearly relished the opportunity to partake in the three course meal (with a five dish buffet for the main) prepared by the Real Pasifik ambassador chefs.

It was a fabulous afternoon and would have been the perfect culmination to the final shoot of the series, if indeed it was the final shoot.  It seems there might just be a little bit more still to capture after all…  Further details on that to come soon!

Here’s a few images from the day to help sate you in the meantime.
